Elk City officials opened bids today for the purchase of the city-owned electrical system. Three businesses, including PSO and Northfork Electrical Coop, Inc. submitted bids for the system.
Bids ranged from just over a half-million dollars to $4.4 million. Commissioners will be presented with the bids at the next regular Commission meeting on July 6.
